Finally, Booker told a story about how playing with Durant became a full-circle moment for him:
“It’s hard to put into words. A player for whom I have always had respect and always have. I don’t know if this is public information or not, but my bedroom used to be filled with pictures of Kevin Durant. I usually go to sleep after looking at KD on the wall every night. We are teammates now. I also had a tweet from 2011 or 2012 where I said KD was my favorite player, so it was all really full circle moments. I accept it and embrace it. That’s something that 20 or 25 years ago I would have thought was crazy.”
