There’s no shortage of stars from across the world of entertainment attending the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony that’s being held at the Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles.
While he’s not known for his musical talents, actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ is among the celebrities wielding his star power at the event, alongside his wife of three-and-a-half-years Lauren Hashian, while serving as one of the presenters.
The annual awards show recognizes the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the eligibility year, which this go-around runs from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022.
The Rock, who only just arrived back on the West Coast early this morning hours after wrapping on his new film Red One, made it in time for a round of poses on the Grammys red carpet.
The Hollywood leading man, 50, showed off his cool fashion sense decked out in a gold suit and a matching t-shirt that hung low enough to showcase the tattoo across the left side of his chest.
Star power: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, 50, and wife Lauren Hashian, 38, put on a show on the red carpet ahead of the 65th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday
Flashing his infectious smile, Johnson also donned a pair of black slip-on shoes, all while he had one his arms wrapped around his wife’s waist.
The singer-songwriter, 38, was all about the legs when it came to her fashion choice for the evening in a silver dress with a high cut on the left, allowing her to flaunt her gams.
In contrast, the right side of the eye-catching number fell all the way to the ground with an extra foot or two dragging along like a mini train.
Hashian also made a perfect match by wearing silver strappy heels that wound around her ankles up to the bottom of her calves, and had her lightened brown tresses styled long and voluminous with a part on the slight left.
Broadcasting live from the arena that used to be known as Staples Center in Los Angeles, former The Daily Show star Trevor Noah was back for a third consecutive year as host of the Grammys, and as one of the executive producers.
Known to be among the hardest working artists in showbiz, Johnson had to catch what appeared to be an overnight private plane back to Los Angeles in time to present at the Grammys.
‘Wheels up. 3am Chilled @teremana toast as the #RedOne work has been complete – yet so much more work to be done,’ he captioned a video of himself toasting the wrap on the upcoming action-adventure Christmas film Red One.
He added, ‘West coast bound. Pushing sleeves up with @mayalasry. New work begins. #grateful #BAHR.’
During that flight he also took time out give thanks for the Grammy sweet treats that were on board the plane when he arrived for the flight.
‘Wheels up and what a nice surprise! Classy move,’ The Rock wrote, before revealing to his 362 million Instagram fans and followers, ‘I’m presenting at the Grammy’s this weekend. Real honor and gonna be a fun night. Thank you my ohana @teremana @recordingacademy B & FXA.’
The gracious movie star also posted a video of himself thanking the cast and crew of Red One at the end of the last day of shooting.
‘Ain’t no good in goodbyes, so I’ll give it my best shot,’ he shared. ‘I’ll start and end with the most important thing – gratitude. What a talented crew of filmmakers from A to Z. I’m a lucky guy. #RedOne #LadiesAndGentleman #ThatsAWrap.’
Along with The Rock, Rd One stars Chris Evans, Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Lui, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, J. K. Simmons, Nick Kroll, Kristofer Hivju, Wesley Kimmel and Bonnie Hunt.
Seen as the first of a potential franchise, Red One is slated to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video during the 2023 holiday season.
Couples time: Johnson and Hashian, who have been married for more than three years, also took time to chat with Jennifer Lopez and her husband Ben Affleck
