Dallas superfan Mahomes was left disappointed by another Celtics masterclass

NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes caught the eye with his bold outfit choice at Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was courtside as the Dallas Mavericks took on the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.

Mahomes is a Texas native and grew up in Tyler supporting the Mavericks.

He has been dubbed a “good luck charm” by Dallas fans after attending games throughout the postseason.

Mahomes was joined by his wife Brittany as the Mavs targeted a crucial Game 3 victory at American Airlines Center.

The 28-year-old posed for photos with fans courtside – but his threads failed to make the grade on social media.

Mahomes rocked a pair of fitted jeans featuring a zip across the knees, along with a black tee and a Mavs cap.

“Ain’t seen pair of pants like them since 2017,” laughed one fan on Instagram.

“Zipping sound – and now they’re shorts,” joked another.

“Dude needs a new stylist,” added a third.

“This look is not the one Patrick,” commented a fourth.

“Controversial opinion due to comments but I think they look cute and happy…,” countered a fifth.

Mahomes was left disappointed as the Mavericks fell to a 99-106 loss, going behind 3-0 in the series.

Boston is just one win away from its first NBA title since 2008.

They can win the Larry O’Brien Trophy in the Mavericks’ own house on Friday night.

Dallas superstar Luka Doncic had a night to forget after fouling out in the fourth quarter.

It was the first time in 48 postseason games that the Slovenian has accumulated six fouls.

“We couldn’t play physical,” Doncic fumed following the game.

“I don’t want to say nothing [against the officials]. But six fouls in the NBA finals? Come on man.”

Mahomes is set to return to action in the NFL this September.

He is currently on mini-camp duties with Kansas City ahead of the new season.

The Chiefs are targeting a third-straight Super Bowl title – a feat not achieved by any team in the modern era.
