Inside Sandra Bullock’s sprawling $9 million avocado and citrus farm

After renting her Malibu bungalow earlier this year for $30,000 per month, Sandra Bullock has listed her 91-acre Californian avocado and citrus farm for more than $9 million.

As first reported by the Los Angeles Times, the 58-year-old Academy Award-winning actor is reportedly selling another asset of her impressive real estate portfolio after buying the sprawling property for $4.16 million in 2007. This comes after Bullock sold a Hollywood Hills property in 2018 and a West Hollywood condo earlier this year.

Nicknamed ‘the Farm’, the three-parcel property sits at the foot of Palomar Mountain just 40 miles outside of San Diego. Featuring a large single-storey property and a smaller three bedroom home, complete with a gazebo and workshop, the Mediterranean style ranch can be found at the end of a gated, tree-lined driveway.

Panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys can be observed from multiple points throughout the indoor-outdoor style ranch, at the heart of which french doors open onto a planted central courtyard, complete with a fountain. One of nine fireplaces can be found inside the main living room, seated on wide-planked hardwood floors beneath a vaulted beamed ceiling.

The seclusion and serenity of this sweeping property is reflected in the country-style kitchen, with a smaller kitchenette positioned within a separate guest suite. Another fireplace can be found within the main bedroom suite, with another three found strewn throughout the outdoor gardens and trees.

Bullock had walking paths established that wind past a saltwater pool and spa down towards a pond used for water conservation and irrigation. She also imported ancient olive trees alongside the groves of citrus and avocado trees, eucalyptus trees and rose gardens, leaving ample room for a vineyard or greenhouse.
