Aaron Rodgers may have been out of commission these past few months after suffering an Achilles injury in the first game of the season, but thankfully he’s got his choice of stunning properties where he can rest and recoup. The California native was traded (along with fellow Packers teammate Randall Cobb) to the New York Jets from the Green Bay Packers earlier this spring, and his enviable real estate portfolio shows his multiple moves across the country: The star quarterback owns or has owned homes in Del Mar and Malibu, in California; in Suamico and Hobart, in Wisconsin; and most recently, in Montclair, New Jersey. Rodgers also owns residences in Texas and Tennessee, though less is publicly known about those places. Asked this summer about his new New Jersey mansion and how he’ll furnish it, Rodgers shared simply, “I have a lot of stuff from other places I’ve lived that I’ve incorporated,” but chose to remain mum about any other details. Here, we’ve rounded up what we know about some of the star athlete’s many impressive properties.

2005

The same year that Aaron Rodgers was selected as a first-round pick by the Green Bay Packers, he paid $442,500 for a four-bedroom, three-bathroom ranch-style home in Suamico, Wisconsin. The modest residence was situated near Lake Michigan and measured 4,012 square feet, with a classic brick exterior and a 0.77-acre lawn. The place also reportedly boasted a room used as a home gym and had a built-in sound system. Rodgers ultimately decided to offload the house in 2017, selling it at a slight loss for $424,900.

2007

Rodgers was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 and raised in Chico, California, so it makes sense that he would return to his hometown to replant his roots, so to speak. The star athlete next paid $306,000 for a three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom house measuring 4,543 square feet and situated on three acres. Rodgers held onto the property for some time but ultimately sold it for an undisclosed amount in 2014.

2009

The athlete next set his sights south, dropping $2.05 million for a Mediterranean-style mansion in Del Mar, California, a suburb of San Diego. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home spanned nearly 5,800 square feet and featured a cavernous living room, exposed-beam ceiling in the family room, and hardwood floors throughout. There was also an impressive wine cellar, a home movie theater, and a game room with its own private entrance. Out back, there was a pool and spa with a fire pit for alfresco evenings, as well as a large lawn. Rodgers held onto the property for more than a decade, finally offloading it for $5.13 million in late 2021.

As Rodgers’s star continued to rise with the Green Bay Packers, he doubled-down on his Wisconsin holdings with the purchase of a $1.74 million home in Hobart, Wisconsin. Not much is known about the residence—which Rodgers reportedly still owns—except that when the French-style chateau next door was put on the market for $8.4 million in 2018, it made headlines because of its proximity to Rodgers’s mansion.

2019

Perhaps one of Rodgers’s most well-known properties is the $28 million Malibu beach house he and then partner Danica Patrick purchased together from British singer Robbie Williams. The pair had leased the house over the summer before purchasing it outright in an all-cash deal. The Mediterranean Revival–style villa comprises four bedrooms and four bathrooms spread out across 4,636 square feet, with a separate two-bedroom guesthouse elsewhere on the property. There’s direct beach access and plenty of outdoor amenities to encourage year-round entertaining, including a sizable private deck directly off the primary suite, a swimming pool, and a fire pit with wraparound seating. Rodgers still owns this home.

Following his trade to the New York Jets, Rodgers shelled out a record-breaking $9.5 million for a contemporary mansion in Montclair, New Jersey. The new home features eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, with oversize windows that offer stunning views of the New York City skyline. The new build also features sleek, top-of-the-line appliances in the gourmet kitchen and amenities like a media room, wine cellar, and three-car garage.
