On Wednesday, Cobb’s wife Aiyda shared info about how the house fire began on her Instagram story.

“We are lucky to be alive,” she wrote.

“The Tesla charger caught on fire in the garage late last night and quickly spread.

“We got out of the house with nothing but the clothes on our back and no shoes on our feet.

“I’ll explain more later but posting this in case I miss any appts, calls, texts, meetings.

“Thank you GOD.”

The residence is in Houston, Texas.

Aiyda also shared a photo of the result of the family garage damaged by the fire.

It’s not yet clear how many members of the Cobb family were home when the fire started.

Randall and his wife have three young sons: Cade, Caspian, and Chance.

‘Open your mind,’ NFL insider says while offering cryptic explanation of Aaron Rodgers’ New York Jets minicamp absence

The 33-year-old played for the New York Jets last season.

However, Cobb had a disappointing season – recording five receptions and one touchdown in 11 games.

He had joined the New York squad with the opportunity to play alongside Aaron Rodgers whom he played with for 10 seasons with the Green Bay Packers.

But Rodgers went down with a torn Achilles just four snaps into the campaign in Week 1 versus the Buffalo Bills.

Cobb spent his first eight seasons with the Packers, making the Pro Bowl in 2014.

He then played one season apiece with the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans before a second stint with the Packers that lasted for two campaigns.

Currently, Cobb is an NFL free agent.

It’s possible he joins a Jets team with a healthy Rodgers for the 2024 season.
