A recent violent storm in Toronto, Canada, left Drake’s estate in the city flooded. On Tuesday, July 16, 2024, the rapper took to his Instagram stories to share a clip showing his mansion filled with brown water. Finding humor in the unfortunate situation, he wrote:

The video shows Drizzy walking barefoot with a broom as another person tries to keep the doors to a room shut. Per a report by the BBC citing Environment Canada, the city received a record-breaking 100 mm of rainfall on Tuesday. Images and clips shared on social media show severe flooding across the city and more than 167,000 customers without power.
Ross, not missing a chance to make a joke, commented under a repost of Drake’s story:
“Minor issues (smirking emoji)”
The record executive is referring to p*dophilia claims made by Lamar in his diatribe, Meet the Grahams and Not Like Us.

Drake and Rick Ross have been involved in a feud since 2015
Drake and Rick Ross have a long history of collaborating but started feuding around 2015 due to Drake’s conflict with Meek Mill, who was signed to Ross’s label, Maybach. In 2017, Ross told Rap-Up they had reconciled. However, Ross got indirectly involved when Drake was feuding with Kendrick Lamar earlier this year.
In scathing diss track Push Ups (April 2024), the Toronto-𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 rapper took aim at Rozay’s age and career, stating:
“Might take your latest girl and cuff her like Ricky / Can’t believe he’s jumping in, this n*gga turning 50 / Every song that made it on the chart he got from Drizzy/ Spend that lil’ check you got and stay up out my business.”
Ross, not one to back down, responded with his own diatribe, Champage Moments (April 2024), where he accused Drizzy of using ghost writers. He called the Canadian rapper a “white boy” and even alleged that the rapper underwent cosmetic surgery.
Last month, the Ross was in Vancouver to perform at the Ignite Music Festival. After allegedly trying to play Kendrick Lamar’s diss track Not Like Us, Rick Ross and his crew faced backlash from fans. The incident garnered attention, with Drake even liking a video related to it.
On July 1, Drake shared clips celebrating Canada Day on his Instagram. Tia Kemp, Rick Ross’s estranged ex-partner, praised Drake in the comments with a starry-eyed emoji. Drake responded by calling her “my goat” (Greatest of All Time).
Internet personality DJ Akademiks later reposted this exchange on his Instagram, under which Ross commented:
