KENDRICK Perkins has lost his status within the Boston Celtics organization after trashing the team.

Perkins was a Celtics legend, spending eight years with the team and winning a title in 2008, but it all came crashing down in recent years.

Despite being a former player, Perkins was one of the Celtics’ biggest critics, and those within the team can’t forgive him for the repeated offenses.

A source inside the Celtics front office shared how Perkins has lost all standing within the organization.

“Perkins, he lost his status in Boston, that is for sure,” the source told The U.S. Sun.

“I really don’t understand why he feels the need to be attacking players and coaches, and using this kind of insulting words towards people.

“He was one of the great guys of the history of the franchise, but now, it’s all gone, he messed up really bad and nobody respects him here anymore.”

The NBA source added Perkins’ attacks on the Celtics angered everyone within the organization and that it’s sad to see him do that to himself.

“People at the organization and front office got really pissed by what he has been saying, and if you talk to the players about him….there is no respect for him anymore,” the source continued.

“That is a sad situation, but he kind of made it this way. You disrespect people, and you have to assume the consequences.

“I mean, you said bad things, and you don’t even apologize or say that you crossed a line?

“Come on now, that is not very smart, and I have seen a lot of people talking about it in the city in the last few months, and showing their anger towards what he said.

“I think It’s understandable, and I don’t think he should show up to TD Garden for a while, because he may be the first former Celtics’ player to be booed by the fans.”

Even players on the Celtics roster have shared that they feel like the bridge is burned between Perkins and the team.

“I mean, what did he expect?” the source told The U.S. Sun.

“He criticizes the franchise and the players, uses very bad words to criticize the coach, the players and he expects to be respected in return?

“That doesn’t work like this, life doesn’t work like this. If you start a fire, expect to be burned.

“He came to try to play it nice many times, but I can call his bulls**t very fast, and that kind of behavior is very disrespectful.”

The player shared that Perkins is as much as “hated” by some of the current members of the Celtics roster.

“We aren’t dumb, we know the TV and the spotlight probably got into his head, but you can’t insult people and expect them to say hi to you or be nice with you,” the player added.

“I am being polite, but there are other teammates of mine that hate him, and have zero respect for him.

“You can’t be on TV and insult people, calling them stupid and tell them that they are scared?

“Come on now… I am not the kind of guy who has hate towards people, but Kendrick is someone that I don’t respect.

“I don’t know if people here are going to forgive him, but I really think that he won’t be welcome as a Celtic anymore.”
