Ryan Reynolds said he had ‘a lot of fun’ during the Kansas City Chiefs VS New York Jets game he attended with wife Blake Lively, as well as pal Taylor Swift, Sophie Turner and more.

The actor, 46, also spoke about how he and Blake are raising their four 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren – daughters James, eight, Ines, seven, and Betty, four, plus their fourth 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 – 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in February 2023.

The gender and name of their fourth 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 is unknown.

Ryan said that teaching the importance of ‘self-awareness’ in his kids is a priority while speaking to People magazine at the Bring Change to Mind Revels & Revelations 11 event in New York City.

His 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren’s mental health is important to him, and ‘its more about talking to them about everything.’

The actor, 46, also spoke about how he and Blake are raising their four 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren – daughters James, eight, Ines, seven, and Betty, four, plus their fourth 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 – 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in February 2023.

‘It’s genuine when I say I take a huge interest in their days and how things are going,’ he said.

Ryan says he asks his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to share details on their day and their routines.

‘For me, the best time of my day is walking them to school and walking them back. I think as parents, we are so much better equipped to handle the rigors of 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood through our kids now than when I was a kid,’ he said.

Adding: ‘Its just totally different now. People are much more self-aware. And that’s the thing we sort of hang our hat on the most is self-awareness with our kids. Not be happy, not be anything, just be self-aware and welcome everything in.’

Ryan told Extra that  his kids want him to be Lawrence Welk for Halloween, adding that it doesn’t make sense to him why.

Lawrence Welk hosted the show The Lawrence Welk show from 1951 until 1982; he was also an accordionist and band leader.

He died in 1992 at age 89.

The star also commented on his appearance at the Kansas City Chiefs VS New York Jets game he attended on Sunday, October 1 with Blake, Taylor Swift, Sophie Turner, Hugh Jackman and more.

‘It’s a lot of fun… The NFL right now is reaching a kind of fever pitch, you know, that you usually only reserved for the Super Bowl, but you know, here we are at the fourth or fifth game of the year and it’s already happening,’ he told Extra.

‘Witnessing her life is something I couldn’t take for granted if I tried. And believe me, I try,’ he added.

‘Happy Birthday @blakelively. You hung the damn moon,’ Ryan ended the note.

Ryan shared a candid snap of Blake while at the beach, appearing to enjoy a romantic dinner together there.
