Talk about a dramatic entrance.
Priyanka Chopra and husband Nick Jonas attended the inauguration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre during their visit to Mumbai, India, on Friday, with the actress stealing the show in a sparkling see-through gown by Elie Saab.
Framing the top half of her body with fluttering floral petals, the dramatic nude-hued design featured a heavily bedazzled bodice and a completely sheer skirt that swept the floor.
Jonas, 30, let his wife shine, wearing an all-black outfit including a jacket over a lace T-shirt.
Though it appears the married couple left daughter Malti at home for the night, the 1-year-old made her international debut earlier in the day in an adorable gray striped dress, marking only her second public appearance since she arrived via surrogate in January 2022.
She made her first earlier this year when dad Nick and uncles Kevin and Joe Jonas earned their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Since then, Malti has gotten tons of social media shine, with her mom sharing sweet snaps of the tot and her dad showing off their matching sneakers.
It remains to be seen when little Malti will make her red carpet debut, but judging by her stylish parents, she’s sure to wear something show-stopping.
It’s also unclear if stylist Law Roach — who recently announced his retirement from dressing celebs — was responsible for Chopra’s jaw-dropping look on Friday, though the two have had rough moments in their relationship; earlier this month, the “Quantico” actress spoke out about feeling “hurt” when she was told she’s “not sample size,” with many assuming Roach was part of the exchange.
Though Chopra did not directly name the stylist in the interview, Roach mentioned the moment in a recent interview with the Cut, calling the quotes “hurtful” and claiming Chopra’s “gatekeepers” spun his words and took them out of context.
Regardless of whether the pair have bad blood, Chopra’s definitely bringing the drama on the red carpet these days.
