The Golden State Warriors’ last two losses have been rough. First, they let a 17-point advantage slip against the San Antonio Spurs, and then they blew an 18-point lead against a shorthanded Brooklyn Nets team. During the Nets game, you could see a visibly exhausted Stephen Curry. And now there is some bad news. Monday’s loss was their worst of the season, and it’s tough to excuse. Saturday’s game, though, might have been more forgivable. The Warriors were playing their third game in four nights, traveling between three cities. But that doesn’t make the defeat any easier to stomach.

The Warriors have updated Curry’s injury status, marking him as questionable for Wednesday’s matchup with the OKC Thunder. This change comes after the team revealed that Curry is dealing with bilateral patellofemoral pain. Unlike the previous report, which only mentioned his left knee, this update clarifies that both of Curry’s knees are affected.
This shift to a bilateral issue adds a layer of concern for Curry’s condition. It means both knees are experiencing discomfort, which could signal more widespread issues than previously thought.
Dub Nation is fed up with Kerr’s antics and demand rest for Stephen Curry
Now Steve Kerr is being blamed for not resting the 2x MVP enough. Fans are criticizing him. One user wrote on X, “I blame Kerr for running motion all game and with 4g lineups that gas the vets by the 3rd qtr.” The Warriors’ coach played 4 guards who constantly moved around, looking for any chinks in the defense. This strategy, known to be employed by the Warriors, tires Curry now that he’s 36.
The Warriors lost two previous games, maybe resting him during one of those games wouldn’t have affected the outcome. Another user chimed in with “should’ve rested him during that pelicans game”. Against the Pelicans, Curry had the highest minutes of any Warriors at 33. With his ongoing issues with left knee bursitis, resting him would’ve been the best option.
The sentiment of resting him the previous two games is consistent across Dub Nation. Another netizen wrote “Should have let Curry rested the last two games”. This fan believes even one game rest wouldn’t have been enough for the 10x All-Star. The 12 man rotation so highly spoken of by Kerr should’ve taken care of Curry’s rest as well. And it’s not like the franchise can’t win without Curry, we’ve seen them win without Curry this season.

Dub nation is tired of all these antics by Steve Kerr, they want to see their at his 100%. One fan wrote something harsh “Steph tired of kerss bs”. Moses Moody only played for 2 mins in the 2nd half against the Nets, even when he scored 15 pts in the first half. Why wasn’t he given more time? You can’t expect Curry to bail you out every time the second unit blows the lead.
Lets hope Curry find the deserved rest and returns a 100% healthy.
