The strange story of a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 girl 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 with a heart-shaped 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡mark on her forehead. The girl’s parents said that their daughter was conceived on the 14th – 2nd of Valentine’s Day

Poppy-Rae, was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in November 2015. What surprised the girl’s parents, Liam Scaife, 21, and Jade Sparham, 20, was the special 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡mark bearing the symbol of love right on her forehead.

Jade calculated the date her daughter was conceived and discovered that it was February 14, Valentine’s Day. “This is really an interesting coincidence,” she said. This makes this holiday even more special to us. Poppy-Rae is like our little cupid. Now Liam and I always want to smell her pretty little face.”

Jade and her husband Liam, were delighted when Poppy-Rae was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 at Pilgrim Hospital, Lincolnshire (UK), weighing approximately 3.75kg. And just hours after their daughter was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧, the young couple noticed a red mark on their 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦’s forehead. At first, the young couple seemed apprehensive because they were worried the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡mark could be a sign of bad health, but doctors reassured them that it was just a mark left by the pressure of 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 and would fades after a few hours. However, two days later Jade and Liam noticed that the red mark had turned pink and had a heart shape. it will turn red when she cries or giggles.

To make sure nothing was wrong, Jade took her daughter to a GP, who concluded it was just a 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡mark. She said: “At first when I noticed that the mark on her face had turned red, I was a little apprehensive because I didn’t know why. But we are relieved to know that the mark is not harmful to her health.” Liam and Jade say the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡mark makes Poppy really special.

Now Jade and Liam can be reassured by the special cuteness of their little daughter. “At first we feared that Poppy-Rae would be bullied by her peers growing up, or have trouble finding a boyfriend, but now we think it’s the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡mark that makes her special. different and more beautiful in our eyes. We really believe that heart shape has brought us together as a happy family,” Jade shared. “If Liam and I ever had a fight or had a disagreement, just look at Poppy We remember how much we loved each other.”

Jade credits Poppy with helping her keep her family happy.

Doctors have told the couple that 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡marks like Poppy-Rae’s will usually disappear by the time she is 4 or 5 years old, but can reappear as she gets older. Jade hoped it would never fade, because it was already a part of her that made her different from everyone else. She confided: “If I could go back in time, I still want to give 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 like that.”
