Nuggets Champion Gets Honest About LeBron James vs. Nikola Jokic

Denver Nuggets champion Jeff Green has played with Jokic and LeBron

Having gone to the NBA Finals with LeBron James as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, veteran forward Jeff Green recently became a champion with Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. Appearing on ESPN’s Run The Race show, Green was asked to compare James and Jokic, having played with both superstars.

“I gotta say it’s a tie,” Green said. “Those are both my guys, it’s no way you can go against or put one above the other. The things that they do on the court is special, and the way that they make their team better is special. They both can pass the ball extremely well, they do it from different positions on the floor.”

Green has played with some very talented stars in his NBA career, and got to witness the dominance of Jokic up close this postseason – which included a sweep of James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Becoming an NBA champion after several deep playoff runs, Green has now gotten to experience what it’s like to be on the team that wins it all.

While Green didn’t win a title with the Cavaliers, he played with arguably the best version of LeBron James during that 2018 season. While many people debate which version of James is the best, that 2018 run has a very strong case. Getting to witness that version of James and also this version of Jokic, Green has seen some greatness.
