53 Days After Bronny James’ Cardiac Arrest Scare, Proud Dad LeBron James Teases USC Star’s Comeback: “Back Like He Neva Left”

The sports universe loves a comeback story. Especially when it is related to an up-and-coming talent who is shooting for the stars. Bronny James, the oldest son of LeBron James, did the same as he stepped on the court 53 days after his cardiac arrest scare. Following this, the proud father teased the USC youngster’s return to the court.

The NBA superstar let the world know about his feelings on Bronny’s comeback to the game. His words came from deep within his soul, as his fatherhood was fully on display.

What did LeBron James say?

In a recent clip, the youngster was seen performing a windmill dunk with an applaudable extension. On a fast break, the teenager made the crowd go crazy with his efforts as he put the ball into the basketball with confidence. This incident excited LeBron James, as the 38-year-old shared his thoughts from his Instagram story.

“Back like he neva left in no time,” the 38-year-old posted to celebrate his son’s recovery and return. The 19-time All-Star added, “Definitely underdog mentality,” to emphasize the values he might have instilled in Bronny as a father. The 4-time champion then put a signature ‘crown’ emoji at the end, to further signify the importance of the moment.

The 18-year-old’s comeback to the court of the game has restored faith in fans, as his prowess surprised many. Since suffering a cardiac arrest on the 24th of July, his basketball career was in danger. The James family tried their absolute best to help Bronny out in every possible way and keep his dream alive.

Finally, they have got their way, nearly two months after the scary moment for the NBA family. The oldest 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 of the household stepped on the basketball court, and this gave 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to only one question.

Can Bronny James enter the NBA?

After spending his high school at Sierra Canyon, the teenager has worked on and developed his game immensely. In the meantime, his physicality and athletic prowess have also improved massively. Bronny opted for USC in his college years as his aim of playing in the NBA remained.

LeBron has been vocal about his willingness to become an NBA teammate with his son, adding another feather to his cap. The 4-time MVP thus must be open to waiting for his oldest kid to become a pro after his college years. Despite the cardiac arrest, Bronny has the clearance to continue to play basketball. With him reaching the twilight of his teenage and a father like LeBron James by his side, he can take over the NBA world soon. All this is still a bit far-fetched dream, as they now focus solely on making the comeback impactful.
