Wonder Woman could be forgiven for being a little wheezy if she ever makes it back to the big screen after the actress responsible for playing her lit up a cigarette on Sunday.

Out for an afternoon stroll in London’s leafy Hampstead, Israeli actress Gal Gadot was hand in hand with film producer husband Jaron Varsano, whose credits include the popular DC films responsible for launching her career.

But her free hand was put to good use as she puffed on a smoke and drank beer while making the most of a rare day away from the set of her forthcoming film, spy thriller Heart Of Stone.

The actress, 37, looked relaxed in a casual olive T-shirt, Anine Bing army jacket and jeans as she ventured out in the upmarket London suburb, where notable residents include millionaire pop stars Sam Smith and Harry Styles.

She added to her look with a pair of black Converse boots, while  heavily tinted sunglasses appeared to be her only notable accessory.

Opting to forgo make-up, Gadot was almost unrecogniable as the couple made their way into a local café, where they mingled with fellow patrons after finding an outdoor table.

The couple made short work of two beers, with Gadot lighting up another cigarette before being recognised by a small group of customers.

Evidently stunned to find themselves crossing paths with the actress in a neat London suburb, the fans knelt at her feet as she obliged them with a selfie.

Gadot was also keen to document the day out by using her own phone to take a photo with Jaron before before they made their way onto the street.

She recently shared a snap of the couple on a walk and admitted their lives are about to get just a little more chaotic with a packed schedule and a full house following the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 of her third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.

‘Since the next couple of months are going to be so busy and hectic we decided to spend this beautiful Saturday outdoors in the winter sun, taking some family time off before diving in to some incredibly exciting new projects,’ she wrote.

The actress joined the cast of director Tom Harper’s Heart of Stone, playing the role of Rachel Stone, in September 2021.

Also joining the cast are Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, Alia Bhatt and Matthias Schweighöfer, while Tom Harper is directing.

The film’s plot is being kept tightly under wraps while many of the stars’ roles have not been revealed. So far, the film is being described only as a spy thriller.

Tom, 42, is best known for directing Peaky Blinders and Aeronauts while the script has been written by Greg Rucka and Allison Roeder.

The movie is being developed by Skydance Media, the production company behind projects such as Mission: Impossible: Fallout, The Old Guard and Annihilation.

Netflix secured the rights to the movie after a competitive and heated bidding war and principal photography has been taking place across London and Shropshire.
