Singer of Cuban and American descent, Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in the United States on March 3, 1997[1] [2]. She is best known for her time as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which she joined after competing on the US edition of X-Factor in 2012 and signing a recording contract with Syco Music and Epic Records at the same time.
Camila and the other members of the group released an extended play (EP) in addition to two studio albums. In December 2016 it was revealed that she was no longer affiliated with the band in any way.
Camila showed off her s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s as a solo singer during her time with Fifth Harmony by performing duets with other artists, such as “I Know What You Did Last Summer” with Shawn Mendes and “Bad Things” with Machine Gun Kelly (the latter a #4 hit on the Billboard Hot 100). Following her departure from Fifth Harmony, Camila collaborated with several artists on several songs, including “Hey Ma” with Pitbull, “Love Incredible” with Cashmere Cat, and her debut solo single “Crying in the Club.” “Hey Ma” appeared on the soundtrack of The Fate of the Furious and featured J Balvin.
