She also met Seinfeld co-creator Larry David on the show.
Louis-Dreyfus left SNL in 1985 and after featuring in a couple of films, was chosen for the role of Elaine Beanes in the sitcom Seinfeld. Talking about the last episode of the show Louis-Dreyfus recounted an emotional moment between the four stars, Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, and Michael Richards, where they huddled up one last time before saying goodbye to the show they had been a part of for nine years. She told The Hollywood Reporter,
“You know, I think we were all caught by surprise by how emotional we felt. We used to do this thing before [the shoot]. We always would come together in a huddle, the four of us, and put our arms around each other and just do a little getting-jazzed moment together. And on this night, we all got together and we all just started to cry. And it was very surprising. And I remember Jerry saying something like, ‘We’ll always have this and we’ll always be tied to one another, because of this experience.’”

The actress then spoke about how bittersweet the moment was for them and that it was hard to say goodbye to friends. She also mentioned that the four were still in touch, though they did not interact with each other every day.
Since the end of the show, the stars of the sitcom have parted ways and have received varying degrees of success.
