Youngster Joao Miguel has taken the social media world by storm after videos showing the very hair and adult-looking 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 went viral on TikTok over the last few weeks
A 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 with an extraordinary amount of hair has taken the internet by storm with many claiming the youngster looks like a grown man.
Parents of Joao Miguel, from Brazil, have been posting videos of the boy on TikTok for months, amassing a following of more than 100k. The videos show the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 doing normal 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 things, yet he is covered head to toe in thick brown hair, has huge eyebrows and more hair on his head than most average blokes.
And he also has a bit of a beard – which has spared comments on social media. One wrote: “He has a better beard than most men. A second commented: “Boy kicked his parents out when he came home from the hospital”. A third said: “He’s already 18 and ready to leave the house.”
And a fourth posted: “He is ready to hit the club after work.” Another video of him drinking from a bottle had users asking if he was actually drinking “tequila, because he looks over age”. Although why exactly the boy is so hairy has not officially been made public, but many on social media suspect that it is nothing more than an excess of hormones.
The channel, BabyJoaoMiguel07, also has 2.8million likes on its videos, with a following of 102.9k. A YouTube channel also exists, but it only has three videos and 36 subscribers, after launching last month. The names of the parents are also unknown.

According to experts, the official name for very hairy babies is Lanugo. Paediatrician Beverly Kupfert said: “If your 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 is 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 with lanugo, it will disappear within a few days or weeks. “That said, if it hangs around a bit longer, that’s normal, too. With some cultures, body hair can be more common and may persist beyond the first few months of life.”
