It’s possible that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have outgrown their three-bedroom, 3,500 square foot apartment in a luxurious Los Angeles skyscraper. The couple is expecting their second kid.
The nine-time Grammy winner apparently found a solution by relocating to a penthouse on the 40th floor of the same structure. Robert A.M. Stern, a prominent architect and member of the AD100 Hall of Fɑme, created this modern tower. Since 2014, Rihanna has resided in this building.
The Century City mansion the singer and businesswoman paid $21 miℓℓion for is nearly twice as big as her previous one, measuring 9,290 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.
For Friends actor Matthew Perry, who sold the expansive estate for $35 miℓℓion in 2019, designer LM Pagano and architect Scott Joyce refurbished it before the sale. Afterpay co-founder Nick Molnar paid $21.6 miℓℓion for the penthouse in 2021, and the following year he put it on the market for just under $28 miℓℓion.
Rihanna appears to have used the upcoming “mansion tax” in Los Angeles as leverage when negotiating the sale, which was finished just before the levy was implemented.
The penthouse offers stunning views of the city skyline from its numerous rows of windows and four terraces, one on each side of the building. The master suite is additionally roomy and includes two bathrooms, a lot of storage, and a separate sitting area with a fireplace. There is also a soundproof theater with tiers of seating.
In addition to the penthouse, the “Work” singer also looks after two nearby homes in Beverly Hills.
