Alexandra talked about a moment when she felt stuck creatively and how Reeves helped her through it.
‘In a moment of frustration in my life, I once said, ‘Sometimes I feel like a Maserati stuck in traffic,’ that I have this big engine, but, for a variety of reasons, that I couldn’t ever go,’ she told the outlet.

And she explained that though they work in different mediums, at heart they are both storytellers.
‘To make a film, you require hundreds of people. To be an artist, you don’t. You require one. You require a community to get the work into the world, but not to actually make it. I think part of the inspiration is the differences of scale,’ she explained.
And she is also a fan of her boyfriend’s side project, his band Dogstar and didn’t mind that he recently had to skip their standing Friday night ‘art date’ to play a live gig.
‘I’m really proud,’ she said, adding: ‘I am a huge Dogstar fan.
