A brilliant Nigerian man named Ibrahim Haroon who bagged a first-class degree in Law at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria has won the prestigious scholarship to study for his masters at the University of Oxford, England.
Ibrahim Haroon obtained his bachelor’s degree in Law at the University of Ilorin in Nigeria with first-class honors and was the second-best graduating student of his set. After his bachelor’s, he proceeded to Nigerian Law School.
He passed his bar exam with distinction and was inducted as a barrister and solicitor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the Law School. Ibrahim’s excellent academic performance earned him a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust (WHT) scholarship to further his postgraduate studies.
He shared his achievement of winning the scholarship on his LinkedIn. Ibrahim stated that he was awarded a scholarship to study bachelors in Civil Law (Oxford University Masters in Law).
Ibrahim mentioned that he will be focusing on Commercial Remedies, Motivations, Innovations, Regulation, and Law and Computer Science for his research thesis while at the university.
He stated that he will also be filing on his leadership and business s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s through the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust programs. Ibrahim said he is eager and looking forward to the interesting journey ahead of him.
In another story, a young African lady named Matilda Akayesi has been called into the Ghana Bar as a Lawyer and was awarded a scholarship to study for her master’s at the University of Oxford, England in the United Kingdom.
Matilda bagged her bachelor’s degree in Law at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana before she proceeded to the Ghana School of Law where she was inducted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
