Angelina Jolie was asked on E!’s Daily Pop whether her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren were more excited by her role in Eternals or by her friendship with The Weeknd – but she avoided the question

Angelina Jolie gave a frosty response when asked about her friendship with The Weeknd who she stars with in her new film Eternals.

The actress was promoting the film with co-star Salma Hayek on US daytime talk show E! Daily Pop, when host Justin Sylvester asked whether her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren were more excited by her role in Eternals or by her friendship with The Weeknd.

But Angelina decided to remain tight-lipped about her relationship with The I Feel It Coming singer, who she has been spotted hanging out with.

Angelina awkwardly replied: “They’re very excited about this film… If that’s what you’re asking,” she said as she looked as her co-star Salma.

She added in a quieter tone: “They’re very excited about this film.”

Angelina and The Weeknd, real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, have been seen dining several times this year.

They are believed to be telling pals they are “just friends”, but insiders think they are having a romance.

A source told Us Weekly : “Both Angie and Abel are telling people that they are just friends, but those who know them think something romantic is going on.”

“She’s definitely warming toward Abel. He’s been pouring on the charm and going out of his way to impress her.”

Angelina has been linked to several other men since splitting from her ex-husband Brad Pitt in 2016.

And the Hollywood icon has spotted with another ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller in recent months.

Friends of the actress say Jolie is excited about seeing new people.

One said: “Angelina is having so much fun right now, and she’s making up for lost time.”

Angelina and her daughter Vivienne were spotted browsing for bargains on London’s famous shopping district Oxford Street on Tuesday.

The Hollywood star and the 13-year-old daughter she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt were checking out the racks and picking out bargains at budget fashion store H&M.

Angelina and her teenage daughter were hidden behind masks while they shopped – while Angie seemed to have sorted out her tell-tale mismatched hair extensions.

The mother and daughter looked relaxed as they causally shopped while surrounded by members of the public – who appeared oblivious to the fact they were inches away from a superstar.

The pair shopped away with Angelina hiding her petite frame beneath a luxurious herringbone coat by Dolce & Gabbana.

While Vivienne looked casual in a t-shirt and jogging bottoms – while picking up new t-shirts in the Swedish fashion brand’s flagship store.
