Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount is back on the pitch at Carrington for the first time since November as he ramps up his recovery from injury

Mason Mount is back to running on grass again, according to Manchester United. This is part of his rehab from an injury.

He has been hurt for the last nine games in all competitions and hasn’t played for Manchester United since November 11.

Erik Ten Hag said last week that the ex-Chelsea player won’t be ready until January. However, the fact that he is back to full training is good news before the new year. People who didn’t start in the win over Aston Villa on Christmas Day were seen running at Carrington with Mount.

The three points were won by United after being down 2-0 at halftime to Unai Emery’s team. Alejandro Garnacho scored twice in the second half and Rasmus Hojlund scored his first Premier League goal. Ten Hag put Kobbie Mainoo, Christian Eriksen, and Bruno Fernandes in the middle to start the game. Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek were on the bench.

Sofyan Amrabat and Casemiro, two other midfielders, also didn’t play because they were hurt. Casemiro is supposed to be back in January, just like Mount. Amrabat missed the game because of a small injury, but he might be able to play against Forest again.

However, Mount won’t be back for that game. His return to training will be helpful for Ten Hag, who has had trouble finding midfielders at times this season.

The star player who used to play for Chelsea joined United for £55 million in the summer. He has played 12 games for the club so far but hasn’t scored or set up a goal. The 24-year-old has been kicked out of the England team because of his bad form, which comes after the end of his Chelsea career.
