The former Chelsea midfielder was seen burying himself in the gym waiting for the day he returns to the field.
The 24-year-old left Stamford Bridge to land at Old Trafford in a transfer worth £55 million with £5 million in add-ons in the summer of 2023.
Mason Mount lost himself when going through 18 difficult months, no longer a mainstay at Chelsea. He also lost his place in the England squad when he was often injured.
Mount hopes his career will get back on track when he joins Man United. The Red Devils even gave Mount the iconic number 7 shirt. However, the whole of 2023 did not go as Mount wanted. He was constantly injured.
Most recently, Man United released pictures of Mount at the gym at Carrington center.
The English player was seen training hard while recovering from injury.
Notably, Man Utd did not give a specific time frame for Mount’s return.
Number 7 has not played since suffering a problem against Luton Town on November 11 last year.
“Always positive, Mount remains upbeat as he trains privately with the club’s medical team and does everything he can to come back as strong as possible,” the Man Utd homepage describes.
Patience is one of the key factors in the recovery process and Mount insists no steps will be missed, with the aim of returning in the second half of the season.
Fans are also waiting for Mount to reappear.
