Kim Kardashian purchased a sprawling Malibu mansion back in 2022 which had once belonged to Cindy Crawford and she’s now finished renovating the luxury property

Kim Kardashian has finally finished renovating the $70million Malibu mansion she purchased almost two years ago.

The 43-year-old has changed the property’s Mediterranean-inspired look to a more contemporary design with neutral colors. Kim began renovating the property, which was once owned by Cindy Crawford, in early 2023 and has now completely transformed it.

The 7,450 square foot property sits on three acres of land and offers a gorgeous oceanfront view. Kim’s Malibu mansion originally had white walls and a red tiled roof with light wooden features. Now, the property has been updated to have off-white walls and a gray roof. The wooden features have also been painted a pastel blue color.

Kim also seems to have updated the outside of the property, adding more trees to ensure privacy. She’s also created a chic lounge area with grey chairs positioned around a fire pit.

The estate was previously owned by Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber. They purchased the home in 2015 before listing it one year later for $60million.

It was purchased by Yellowstone actress Barret Swatek and her husband Adam Weiss three years later for $45million. They then listed the home for sale in March 2022, with Kim completing the purchase in September that year.

Kim previously gave fans a sneak peek inside the mansion on an episode of The Kardashians. She gushed over her “dream home” during the episode, which comes with four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Kim gave a tour of the property to her younger sister Khloe Kardashian and admitted she cried once she had closed the deal. “I bought a house in Malibu and this has been a dream of mine forever,” she said.

“It’s just one of those ‘pinch-me’ moments where I can’t believe I achieved a goal that I really didn’t think was realistic.” Khloe was shocked when she saw the mansion saying that the home was “so beautiful, it’s literally a little oasis.”

Kim showed off the view from her balcony, with the waterfront view in the background. Khloe was amazed and said: ” It’s so f—— gorgeous. look at this view! This looks like a painting.”

The main floor of the mansion has a living room, dining room, state-of-the-art kitchen and a den for the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to play in. The property also has spa-like bathrooms, walk-in closets, a gym, media room, three large bedrooms, and one separate bedroom that includes it’s own entrance, bathroom, and kitchen.

The property also has a private pool and tennis courts. There’s even a cabana in the backyard which has an outdoor fireplace and a private stairway to the nearby El Sol Beach
