France reached the semi-finals of EURO 2024, but Kylian Mbappe personally did not have a successful tournament. He broke his nose in the opening match, had to wear a protective mask, and before the semi-final match against Spain, the captain of Les Bleus had only scored 1 goal (from the 11m mark).
Despite having difficulty finishing, Real Madrid ‘s new player still showed one of his strongest weapons: speed.
According to records, the 25-year-old player runs faster than any player at EURO 2024.
Mbappe tops the Top 10 list, which includes players playing in the Premier League – considered the fastest league, such as Rasmus Hojlund (Manchester United) – the striker who struggled with the Danish team at EURO this year, or Tottenham’s center-back Micky van de Ven.

Teammate Cody Gakpo added: “According to the data, he is the fastest player in the Premier League. It is really difficult to play against him, a strong player, fast, good on the ball, good at defending. He does everything fantastically.”
However, the Tottenham centre-back is still only a reserve at EURO 2024, while Virgil van Dijk and Nathan Ake are the top choices.
In the other semi-final, Spain will face a challenge from France, the only team with two players in the Top 10 fastest players in the tournament.
