Beenie Man has followers from all generations, including LeBron James’ daughter Zhuri.
Savannah King James, King James’ wife, posted a video on Instagram Story this week of herself and the couple’s lovely kid Zhuri James listening to Beenie Man’s “King of the Dancehall” on her laptop. “You can’t hate on this one [LeBron James],” Savannah said. The Lakers star did not respond to the tweet, although a large number of Jamaicans were present.
Zhuri James was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 ten years after Beenie Man recorded “King of the Dancehall” in 2004. Tony Kelly produced the song, which reached number eighty on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number fourteen on the UK Singles Chart.
Beenie is one of the most financially successful dancehall artists in history, with a wide crossover appeal. Over the course of his four-decade career, the dancehall legend has had a number of crossover successes that have charted in the United States and Europe. He has also worked with megastars like as Janet Jackson, Mya, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, T.I., and others. Clearly, the Doc has at least four generations of followers who enjoy his timeless music today.
In other Beenie Man news, the dancehall icon has became a father for the second time when his girlfriend Krystal Tomlinson gave 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 girl last week. The couple is said to be engaged, thus they are currently arranging their wedding. Meanwhile, Beenie will be on daddy duty this Christmas season, so don’t expect to see him on stage much.
