Chrissy Teigen has a jam-packed rest of the summer planned with her family.

The cookbook author and model, 38, tells PEOPLE exclusively what she, husband John Legend and their kids — daughters Luna Simone and Esti Maxine, plus sons Miles Theodore and Wren Alexander — are booked and busy for the remainder of the warmer months ahead.

“My kids have their cousins here right now, and they love their cousins so, so much,” Teigen says. “Their family is everything to them.”

“I mean, even from the first second they met them, they were just in love. They’ve always been very obsessive with them,” she continues of her kids’ relationship with their family. “Miles, of course, loves his boy cousins, and Luna loves the girl cousins. They team up, they have big battles — it’s such a thing.”

“They’re here with us now, and it’s chaos and exciting,” adds the Cravings by Chrissy Teigen founder. “Sometimes, I’m looking around, there are like eight or nine kids at my table, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, this is crazy.’ But it’s what I’ve always wanted.”

Last weekend, on Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14, Teigen kept busy while attending an EEEEEATSCON event in Chicago.

While in the city, she made sure to grab a hot dog as a meal, which she teased to PEOPLE was on her agenda for weeks before. “I’ve been craving a hot dog for probably six weeks now,” Teigen said at the time. “I have been putting off making one, because I’m dying to just eat the perfect Chicago dog.”

The star had previously taken part at an EEEEEATSCON event in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9.

“I had the most incredible time,” Teigen explained of the L.A. event. “It just felt like my people, and it just felt so special and so cool to get to give out so much of our product, and to also see the other vendors that were there was really exciting.”

Looking ahead, Teigen and her family now have a trip to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.

“I’m really excited for that. Just the big kids are coming, Luna and Miles, and they’re thrilled,” explains the proud mom.

Detailing that Luna in particular “is so excited to watch gymnastics,” Teigen highlights with a laugh, “She’s a gymnast herself — but not anywhere near the caliber of Simone Biles yet.”

Continuing to speak about the upcoming trip, Teigen adds, “I’ve never attended anything like this in my life, so to be in Paris for the Olympics is going to be next level.”

“I’m sure it’s just going to be absolute chaos, … and I’m really excited for it,” she continues. “The kids are excited too. They love going there. It’s just so beautiful, and there are so many things for them to do and see. And that makes it fun for a family trip for anything.”
