Chrissy Teigen responds to trolls who compared her pantsless Olympics opening ceremony outfit to a diaper

She’s winning a gold medal for clapbacks.

Chrissy Teigen has never shied away from responding to social media haters (or from wearing a barely-there outfit) and on Saturday, she replied to a fan who trashed her pantsless 2024 Olympics opening ceremony look.

The “Chrissy & Dave Dine Out” star, 38, caused a bit of a social media stir when she sported a green knit Chloé cardigan ($1,790) and matching micro shorts ($1,000) to Friday’s star-studded event in Paris, with many of her Instagram followers comparing the look to a diaper.

And while the tiny bottoms are perfectly on-trend, her Instagram followers didn’t seem to be loving the look, like one who called it “the worst outfit for that kind of event.”

“thanks for sharing!” Teigen wrote in response to the fan’s comment.

While she didn’t reply to any of the other scathing comments, there were far worse remarks, like one reading, “The airline lost your pants????? Seriously this is awful. If you were drunk I’d understand.”

“Why are you wearing underwear and calling it an outfit??????” another added, while several wrote a variation of “Looks like she has a diaper on 😂.”

However, the model — who is attending the Summer Olympics in Paris this week with husband John Legend, 45, and their two oldest kids Luna, 8, and Miles, 6 — also got plenty of support from other fans and famous friends.

“my god this fit🔥❤️😭✨” Busy Philipps wrote, while another Instagram user wrote, “Everyone mad about the outfit— she’s a model with 7ft legs let her show off her assets it bought her a house, what have your legs done.”

As for her outfit, it featured military-style gold buttons adorning both the cotton cardigan and matching hot pants, and she teamed the look with strappy Saint Laurent sandals ($945) and a Bottega Veneta clutch.

The “Cravings” author is certainly no stranger to a pantsless moment; she’s stepped out in hot pants on several occasions, including a December 2023 date night with the “All of Me” singer and one of her husband’s 2021 concerts.

The opening ceremony wasn’t the only time Teigen has worn an itty-bitty outfit to the Olympics.

On Sunday, she attended a women’s gymnastics event while wearing a white Alexander Wang ensemble that resembled a slashed-up menswear shirt.

She paired a ribbed camel top and super-cropped crisp white shirt ($395) with the brand’s matching Hotflix Mini Skort ($495), with the tiny bottom featuring shirt-style buttons and a drawstring waist.

Watch this space for Chrissy’s next gold-medal look.
