There is so much to love about this New Braunfels, Texas, United States vacation cabin that can accommodate up to 9 guests with 3 bedrooms, 6 beds, and 2 baths. The Corner Star Cabin is perfectly located in a small town called Satter. It’s in the middle of everything Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe River. This gorgeous 1,800 square-foot, pet-free, 2-story, open-concept cabin is decked out with Texas charm. A vintage western theme runs throughout the cabin. There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds downstairs, and a single bed under the stairs. The main loft upstairs has a bathroom with a tub, private balcony, king bed, and trundle bed. There is a full bathroom downstairs.
The cabin has a spacious kitchen, and living area with plenty of room for everyone whether watching TV, eating, cooking, playing games, or just hanging out. The kitchen is fully stocked with glasses, plates, flatware, pots, pans, and even wine glasses. There is a table that seats 8 and a bar that seats 5. The cabin sleeps 9. From the high ceilings to the huge wood pillars, and the wood on the walls, you’ll find this cabin to be very inviting.
Outside you’ll find a cute little fenced-in yard, charcoal grill, fireplace, picnic table with umbrella, plenty of seating, and yard games (corn hole, horseshoes, ladder ball provided). The cabin has a charging station. Cabin guests with electric cars can charge up with the 30/50 amp plugs. Bring your adapter/charging cord. Guests can bring their RV to have an epic reunion at Corner Star Cabin, with 5 full-hookup RV sites on the vacation property. RV slots can be rented independently of the cabin. Slots are behind and separated from the cabin by a privacy fence. R
The vacation cabin is located in New Braunfels, Texas, United States just moments away (about 5 minutes) from the Guadalupe River, Canyon Lake, and the Whitewater Amphitheater. The Guadalupe River is a hot spot for tubing, kayaking, and fishing. You are only .5 miles from the fourth river crossing, only 1.6 miles away from the popular horseshoe where you can rent or bring your tube and go round and round the horseshoe-shaped bend in the river. During your vacation stay you can set up a guided fly fishing experience on the river or go for a drive down River Road. This is a 12-mile scenic drive along the beautiful Guadalupe River with majestic valley views carved into the Texas Hill Country. This drive starts at the vacation cabin and ends about a mile from Gruene Historic District and the world-famous Gruene Hall.
At Canyon Lake you can swim, fish, boat, and kayak. You are only 2 miles from Canyon Dam and Overlook Park, where you can view the lake, walk down to the lake, or walk across the dam. There are boat rentals along the lake. Boat ramp Number 1 is just 5 minutes from the cabin, and the Turkey Cove Boat Launch is just 13 minutes from the cabin.
