Just one month after finalizing his divorce from Kim Kardashian Kanye West married Yeezy architect Bianca Censori, but their relationship hasn’t been without controversy

Kanye West shocked fans when it was revealed he had secretly married Bianca Censori just one month after finalizing his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

Since then, the couple have been grabbing headlines with their controversial behavior, with Bianca stepping out in more and more revealing outfits. It’s believed Kanye is in control of his wife’s outfits, with reports also suggesting he dictates when she can speak and what she can eat.

Her family has reportedly raised their concerns about the romance, with her dad Leo Censori wanting to speak to Kanye after he turned his daughter into “a trashy nɑƙeɗ trophy pony”. Here, we’ve taken a look back at Kanye and Bianca’s relationship history.

November 2020: First meeting

Kanye and Bianca first crossed paths in 2020 when she started working for his fashion brand, Yeezy. Bianca worked as an architectural designer for the company and started working there that November.

One of her former friends alleged in an interview on the Ben, Liam and Belle show that Bianca actually dropped out of university after the rapper slid into her DMs. They said: “Ye slid into her DMs, found her on Instagram and said, ‘Come and work for me,’ and she dropped out. I’m not actually sure if she’s an architect.”

December 2022: Censori Overload drops

Their relationship seemed to have heated up in December 2022 when Kanye released the song Censori Overload. In the song, Kanye hinted at the reason behind their marriage as he rapped: “And The Bible said I can’t have any more 𝓈ℯ𝓍 till marriage.”

The song also referenced his split from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. “Waking up to ‘I can’t do this anymore’ texts,” he sang.

January 2023: Private wedding

Bianca and Kanye were first photographed together in early January 2023 as they were spotted at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. They enjoyed a lunch date at the hotel as they walked around hand-in-hand.

That same month, it was rumored the couple had secretly wed during a private ceremony in Beverly Hills. At the time, it was reported the wedding wasn’t legal as the pair had reportedly never filed a marriage certificate.

However, in October 2023, it was finally revealed that Bianca and Kanye were legally married. Documents released at the time showed the couple had obtained a confidential marriage license that included a wedding date of December 20, 2022.

After getting married, it was time for Bianca to meet Kanye’s family. Towards the end of January 2023, she was seen out for dinner with Kim and Kanye’s eldest daughter North West.

June 2023: New home

In June 2023, it was reported Bianca and Kanye were looking for a place to live. The Sun claimed the couple had settled into a $20,000-a-month apartment in West Hollywood, California.

They opted for a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom apartment which included amenities such as a heated pool, rooftop café, private cinema, valet, a bar and lounge area and 24-hour concierge service.

Bianca and Kanye also hit their two-month mark in June. A source told Us magazine at the time: “Things couldn’t be better for Kanye and Bianca.

“Kanye feels like he finally met someone who truly gets him and loves him for the person he is. Bianca complements Kanye on so many levels, and he loves that they can work and collaborate together on projects.”

August 2023: Italian trip

In August 2023, Kanye and Bianca jetted off to Italy for a luxury holiday. The trip grabbed headlines as Kanye was caught in a compromising position with Bianca while on a boat.

Kanye flashed his bum to a crowd of shocked onlookers while his wife crouched in front of him. The incident led to the couple being banned by the Venetian boat rental company.

Venezia Turismo Motoscafi, the company that rented Kanye and Bianca the boat, slammed the couple’s risqué display and said they had no idea what they were getting up to on board the boat. “On board, the driver had to keep a lookout for traffic and did not see these obscenities. If this had happened, he would have immediately disembarked and reported the transgressors to those in authority,” they said in a statement shared with the Daily Mail.

They added: “In addition, there was a third person on board the taxi, who accompanied Mr. and Mrs. West, who obstructed the captain’s view to the stern in any case.” Kanye and Bianca had been accompanied by a woman on the boat trip.

It was reported that Kanye has a series of rules his life has to live by, including him choosing what she eats, when she works out and what she wears. Bianca’s friends reportedly staged an intervention in November 2023 to urge her to “wake the f**k up”.

A source told the Daily Mail at the time: “She knows that she has shut out those close to her, and she is also starting to see through the smoky mirrors of her marriage.”
