Singer Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner have agreed to divorce, ending a year-long battle.

According to documents obtained by TMZ on September 10, a judge signed off on the couple’s mutual agreement, helping them complete the divorce process. The terms of the agreement are kept confidential.

Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner in September last year after three years of marriage and two daughters. The split became tense and noisy when Sophie sued Joe for “kidnapping” the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, preventing her from seeing them. Joe’s representative denied the accusations, saying the singer simply refused to let Sophie take the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to the UK to live with their mother because they are US citizens.

More than a month later, Joe and Sophie agreed to enter mediation to resolve the issue of property division and 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 custody. The former couple then agreed to temporarily split their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren’s time equally between the US with their father and the UK with their mother.

During their divorce, both Joe and Sophie found new love . The X-Men actress is dating British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson while Joe has had relationships with actress Stormi Bree and Lebanese beauty Laila Abdallah.

In July, Joe Jonas revealed to TMZ that he was working on his own album as a form of therapy following the breakup of his marriage. The upcoming album is called Music for People Who Believe in Love .
