THE BLACK LABEL has revealed a familiar face as the first official member of their upcoming girl group MEOVV, set to debut in September.
One of the rumored members was well-known trainee Ella Gross. She went viral in 2018 when it was announced that she joined YG Entertainment‘s sub-label, The Black Label, as a trainee at only 10 years old.
Ella gained attention after being dubbed BLACKPINK Jennie‘s “little sister,” due to her visual resemblance.
After the announcement of MEOVV’s debut, August 21 saw the first teaser for the member, and straight away, netizens believed that the eyes belonged to Ella.
Later, the X account shared the first video announcing the first member, and it was, of course, Ella.
The video showcased Ella’s visuals and just how much she’s grown over the years that netizens have been following her journey.
From the light and youthful concept to something darker and more mysterious, it was definitely the perfect way to announce Ella as the newest member.
