Kendall Jenner returned to the runway in Paris to take part in the star-studded L’Oréal Paris “Walk Your Worth” fashion show. Jenner stood out in a jaw-dropping sheer red gown with a bra cutout. Her new platinum hair popped against the rouge dress.
Jenner was joined by stars like Jane Fonda, Camila Cabello, and Cara Delevingne, who also modeled in the show.
Jenner, however, has long been open about how her anxiety has impacted her ability to be comfortable modeling during fashion week. In September 2019, Jenner told ELLE, “I used to get really nervous during fashion shows. I feel like when you’re walking on the runway—I say this from experience—you’re just thinking, Walk straight! Walk straight!—and you try to just focus on that. Especially me, because I used to get really nervous when I knew people in the audience. I would try and force myself to zone out. But now, I’m cool with it—I’ve actually gotten so much better at it that I like knowing who’s there, and I’ll kind of peek over to see who’s in the audience before I come out. But it took a little while to get to that point.”
Jenner revealed to Vogue in May 2024 that while she has experienced panic attacks in the past, it has been two years since her last one. “I remember having these meltdowns on planes,” she said, recalling her early modeling career. “They would come out of nowhere. I’d be like, Oh my God, oh my God, something’s wrong with my heart: palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, double vision, tingles. The whole thing. I’d call my mom hysterically crying and say, ‘I need them to stop the plane, I need them to turn around.’” According to Vogue, she’s now able to manage it with “deep breathing, distraction, meditation, journaling, weekly psychotherapy, [and] periodic consultations with a spiritual healer.”
