After a lavish wedding that lasted for many days in India and the US, Miss World Priyanka Chopra and her young husband Nick Jonas have become one of the most interested couples in the press today.

Nick Jonas told Vogue that he was the one who made the first move in their relationship. On September 8, 2016, Nick messaged Priyanka on her Twitter page: “I had a mutual friend tell me we should meet.”

A day later, Priyanka Chopra replied to Nick’s message, writing: “My team can read these messages. Why don’t you text me on your phone?” The pair began texting back and forth, which Nick said were “friends flirting.” Then, in 2017, they met at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. Nick Jonas was at a bar when Priyanka Chopra walked in. He quickly put down his drink and knelt down in front of a crowd of people, shouting at Priyanka Chopra: “Are you real? Where have you been all my life?”

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas didn’t see each other for a year until this year’s Met Gala in May. Nick then invited Priyanka to see him perform, then to a sports game and a holiday. Nick said, “Will you make me the happiest man in the world by marrying you?” Priyanka was speechless for about forty-five seconds and Nick then told her, “I will put this ring on your finger right now unless you have any objections.”

Priyanka Chopra will move to the US to live with Nick Jonas and work in Hollywood. She is the star of the American TV series “Quantico”. Besides, Priyanka will still participate in film projects in India.
