Khloe Kardashian fans fear that she could be giving Tristan Thompson another chance
Khloe Kardashian could be giving Tristan Thompson a third chance.
The Good American founder posted a picture on her Instagram Story of a quote that raised her followers’ eyebrows. The quote read: “Before I give up on somebody, I try. I try and I try until there’s nothing left to try for.” Many believe that the post could be hinting at Khloe giving Tristan another chance. The two share two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren together – True and Tatum Thompson.
A Reddit user created a thread with a screenshot of the post. They captioned: “This better not mean what I think it means, Khloe [clown and upside down smiling emoji].”
Other users immediately dragged Khloe in the comments, hoping it is not about Tristan. One person wrote: “Dear Khloe, when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. XO.” Another person wrote: “Bless her heart, her stories are like my drunk FB posts when I was 22. I hope she will find her peace, eventually.”

A third person wrote: “Khloe there was nothing left to try snice he impregnated another woman two years ago.” A fourth user posted: “This quote could be taken two ways : that’s she’s done with him after trying everything, it that she is going to give it her all till there’s absolutely nothing left. But Knowing Khloe’s history and bad decision making, it’s probably the latter….”
Tristan and Khloe’s relationship was everything but calm. The two started dating in 2016 but two years later, Tristan was caught cheating on Khloe during her pregnancy. The NBA player was then hit with a paternity suit after he fathered a son with another woman during his relationship with Khloe. The two split in 2021, but welcomed Tatum a year later via surrogacy.
Since then, the two have co-parented and supported each other. Khloe helps Tristan take care of his brother Amari, 17, after his mother, Andrea Thompson, passed away in January 2023. Amari was diagnosed with epilepsy, a neurological disorder that causes seizures.
At one point after their break up, Tristan was living with Khloe but she always reassured viewers and her family that they did not rekindle their romance.
