On the Chiefs’ day off, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes take the kids to the zoo to watch a lion

“Today, I’m going to the Zoo to witness some incredible behind-the-scenes activities 😍,” said Brittany on Instagram as she detailed her day. During the Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week, Patrick Mahomes is lounging with his family.

The 29-year-old NFL quarterback, his 3-year-old daughter Sterling, and their 2-year-old son Bronze were all present at the Fort Worth Zoo in Texas on Thursday, October 10. The couple is expecting a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, Brittany Mahomes.

The 29-year-old Brittany started her Instagram Stories story with a video of a zoo employee feeding a young giraffe, and she continued with several posts detailing their exciting day.

“Go[t] to go [to] the Zoo today and see some behind the scenes amazing things 😍 Like [feeding] a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 giraffe 🥹,” the expecting woman posted.

The video was followed by a sweet photo of Patrick carrying Bronze as they fed leaves to three giraffes and little image of Sterling and a bunch of kids viewing flamingos.

Brittany also posted a close-up of the zoo’s female hippo, Bubbles, opening her mouth to be checked by a staff member.

One of the highlights, according to the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, was meeting a “beautiful lion,” with whom Patrick and Bronze engaged in a comical stare-down.

“Bronze is afraid of many things, but was this lion not frightening him? 😂 In a full-on stare-off… 😂 who prevailed?” Over two pictures, she wrote.

Before heading inside for supper, the family also took a picture in front of the lion.

In the picture, Brittany shows her kitchen with pots and pans, an empty plate, a tablet, and a phone that she claimed Patrick was using to watch football and baseball games.

“In addition, 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren are watching Bluey, so dad needs to do this… 😂 I made supper tonight for the first time in a very long time, and I think it went well. 😂 Our kitchen is a disaster, but I love our life 😊,” Brittany wrote. With a sweet video of Sterling’s empty dinner plate, she concluded her series of posts.

Patrick and Brittany were seen on Wednesday, October 9, at Kauffman Stadium in Missouri, where the Kansas City Royals were playing the New York Yankees. The game was won 3–2 by the Royals.
