Kylie and Kendall Jenner coordinated outfits for a sisters’ night out. Yesterday evening, the two stars both wore black cutout tops with matching pants. Kylie’s top was open in the middle, while Kendall’s had dramatic slits. The siblings were supporting their friend Hailey Bieber’s Rhode barrier butter launch. Kylie shared multiple TikToks from the party, including one of her and Kendall showcasing their black ensembles:
Kylie is ELLE’s November cover girl. In her cover story, released yesterday, the star spoke about her fashion sense. She described her look as “dark feminine” rather than quiet luxury.
“I think I’m actually going in the opposite direction [of quiet luxury],” she said. “I’ve definitely had some moments of quiet luxury, as they would say, but I’m always experimenting. At the root of my authentic style, I think I’m more dark feminine.”
Her style has evolved because “I haven’t had a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 in a few years. The first part of my twenties was having 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, learning what my personal style was and then losing it—not knowing how to dress, gaining 60 pounds for both pregnancies. It took me a year to feel like myself again. At 27, I feel more confident and more like myself than ever.”
While she didn’t discuss her relationship with Kendall in the piece, she did touch on her feelings about 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood fame, as both she and Kendall were on their family’s reality show as kids. She cannot remember a time where she wasn’t famous. Celebrity “is just something I’ve learned to grow up with, or grow up in,” she admitted.
