It joins several others that no longer exist.
As many fans and non-fans know, BTS‘s “Spring Day” is one of the group’s most popular songs.
Released on their 2017 album You Never Walk Alone, the song has remained on the charts since then. Earlier this year, “Spring Day” became the most successful song in MelOn‘s history, with over 8.4 million unique listeners.
Along with the song, the music video for “Spring Day” has created a tour for the group’s fans who want to see the spots in person.
However, it seems there is one less spot now that fans are able to visit from the music video.
In the beginning of the video, V is seen standing at a snowy train station. This station is Iryeong Station located in Yangju, a city in Gyeonggi Province, about an hour from Seoul by train.
The station has been closed since 2004, but saw increased tourism following the music video for “Spring Day.”
On November 1, a fan shared that they had attempted to visit the location, only to be met with machinery seemingly to demolishing the station.
Today I went to visit the Spring Day train station, but sadly I was too late 🥺 pic.twitter.com/qFAUE8Kr3q

I know 😭 it’s gone. They were actively taking it down when I got there

Many fans reacted with sadness online, upset they would not get the chance to visit the station and wondering why it was not turned into a proper tourist attraction.
These precious moments or pieces of BTS history may be gone now, but they will live on in the hearts of ARMYs everywhere ☹️
This broke my heart omg…..
