What A Gentleman, Bully Fat-Shames Girl’s Prom Pics — Boyfriend Shuts Them Down With Sweetest Tweet

In 2017, high school couple Madison and her then-boyfriend Tre Booker celebrated their one year anniversary. They celebrated the day with sweet messages and posts on social media about each other… Little did they know, just a few weeks later, their relationship would be thrust into the spotlight, and those social media accounts would become the subjects of both hateful criticism and overwhelming widespread praise.

It all started when Madison tweeted a series of photos on her and Tre’s prom night. “Prom with the loml!” Madison wrote on Twitter. (That’s “love of my life,” for those of you who aren’t up-to-date on your texting lingo.)

Madison expected some of her friends to respond with kind comments, but it was the reply below — from a complete stranger — that struck her.

Madison tweeted a screenshot of the hurtful message and added her own reply: “Don’t see how people can be so rude to people they don’t even know.”

The teen had no idea her simple tweet would blow up! Twitter users from around the world commented on Madison’s prom photos, showering her and Tre with love and praise.

@madisonfaithhh_ Y’all might be the cutest couple I’ve ever seen? love your dress too omg?

But the best response of all was a tweet from the man himself, Tre, Madison’s boyfriend.

Again, Twitter users squealed over the cuteness.

Since going viral, Madison has spoken up with a message to her followers:

These two are definitely relationship goals.

And the cuteness doesn’t stop there. Like their story is some kind of real-life fairy tale, Madison and Tre are now married!

Share to spread the love and body positivity!
