Most tourists to Pamukkale are captivated at first sight. Back in history 2000 years ago, under the reign of Attalos, the Kingdom of Pergamon built the city of Hierapolis. At that time, it was seen as a center for health and beauty care. People from all over Anatolia come here to soak in the giant hot pools to dispel fatigue.

Today, this place is still a place that attracts beauty “believers” around the world. Here, visitors can both soak in the mineral water pool and enjoy the charming scenery like the old people used to. If possible, you can also stay longer to experience mud baths and massages in resorts around the city.

From a distance, Pamukkale appears like a snow mountain stretching 2,700 m on a 160 m high ridge. Before going to the top, visitors can take pictures with the blue lake at the foot of the mountain and play with a variety of winged animals.

Then you take off your shoes and go barefoot to avoid erosion and pollution of limestone, pass nearly 3km to go up in the middle of the white and beautiful sightseeing area like in the clouds. And the higher you go, the more poetic beauty becomes in the sparkling sun.

This place is formed from a sedimentary deposit containing a lot of calcium carbonate flowing through the rock ledges for many years, creating a series of layered pure white limestone stalactites – it is not an exaggeration to call Pamukkale Cotton Castle.

In addition, underground hot springs flow through, settling between limestone layers into small green lakes, the water level is just over half a meter. Since then, 17 hot springs with a temperature of 35-100 degrees Celsius have been formed, which can help treat many different diseases such as high blood pressure, heart disease, rheumatism, neurological disorders, digestive diseases, eye diseases. , skin diseases and nutritional disorders. When you come here, you are free to choose the appropriate temperature zone to enjoy.

Not only is it a place to take beautiful pictures, the experience of watching the sunset on Pamukkale is also loved by tourists. When the sun goes down, the color of the sky blends with the white of the limestone layer, making viewers overwhelmed by its charming and peaceful beauty.
