In order to welcome triplets, a 44-year-old woman overcame six years of struggle and four miscarriages.

Woman, 44, and her husband, 51, who spent more than $100,000 on fertility treatment, acupuncture, and homeopathic remedies, are now the proud parents of triplet daughters following ‘one last round’ of IVF.

At age 44, Leonie Fitzgerald gave 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to three flawless daughters. Despite being diagnosed with insufficient progesterone, which led to four devastating miscarriages, she refused to give up faith.s.

Leonie and her spouse Peter, 51, wed in 2013 and began attempting for a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 18 months later, but it wasn’t until March of 2017 that they conceived naturally.

Sadly, thirteen weeks later, Leonie had her first miscarriage. In August of the same year, she attempted IVF for the first time, but was unsuccessful. She stated, “We determined that IVF was our only option and were filled with renewed faith.” You never anticipate its failure until it actually occurs.

I suffered three more miscarriages, once through IVF and twice naturally. These sses did not take as much of a physical or emotional toll on me as the first one did because I only discovered out I was pregnant in the third week, so I had little time to become too attached.

After the second IVF cycle, Leonie resigned her highly stressful job and began her own property investment and wealth business.

Despite spending approximately 55,000 pounds on cupuncturists, sts, and numerous other ealers and specialists, the couple experienced happiness. Determined, Leonie returned to the scientific route and decided to attempt IVF once more in an effort to conceive.

Leonie stated, “Over the years, I felt a great deal of despair and hopelessness, pondering if it would ever come to pass, so we decided this would be our last endeavor. However, it’s so unfortunate that I miscarried for the fourth time in October 2019 following the second IVF attempt at four weeks.

I was an utt. I was 42 and time was running out. Despite my initial resolve not to attempt again, I decided to seek guidance from a clairvoyant. When she told me that she saw me having twins and that we should try again, we did so.

Leonie became expectant on January 21, 2020, following her third round of IVF for triplet daughters. Recalling the moment when the ultrasound revealed three heartbeats, Leonie stated, “Our third and final IVF cycle was successful. The third occasion was undoubtedly the charm. I recall that we exchanged glances and smiled. It was unexpected because we had only two embryos.

However, when we learned it was a set of triplets, we were ecstatic. I experienced morning nausea from week seven until delivery. I spent roughly an hour in the shower every morning, followed by the entire day on the sofa. I was unable to consume or work, and I also had thyroid issues that required specialist treatment.

Leonie was placed into an induced coma for 16 hours following a seizure and an elevated pulse rate, which rendered the operation unsuccessful. Charlotte, who weighs 4lb 2oz, and twins Liliana and Isabella, who weigh 2lb 6oz and 3lb 5oz, respectively. The triplets stayed in the NICU for 34 days before returning home with their doting parents.

Leonie stated, “I felt quite distant from them because I didn’t receive the first hug. However, we bonded as I sat by their sides in the NICU. Peter and I did not grow up with 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, so all we knew about them came from the incredible nannies.

It was surreal bringing them home; we had no idea where to begin. We had to expand our residence from three to five bedrooms. And purchase a vehicle with eight seats. Initially, the triplets went through ten diapers and twenty-four bottles per day. Occasionally, we must have 1,000 diapers in the home. We are privileged to have a four-day-a-week caregiver and assistance from our family and friends.”

Despite their chaotic household, the couple has learned to be extremely organized and to never squander time. She added, “It was, to say the least, devastating that we spent nearly six years attempting to have a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.

I wouldn’t trade our hectic lifestyles for anything. Having a more optimistic outlook on life and relying on our intuition as we age are unquestionably advantages. We have the advantage of sage counsel.”
