MICHAEL Jordan owns what can only be described as the Michael Jordan of car collections.
The NBA legend’s love of motors was recently showcased in the Ben Affleck movie Air, which revealed that MJ insisted upon getting a red Mercedes 380 SL as part of his signing bonus with Nike.

Just last week, Jordan added the $3.5million Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster – which is labeled the “fastest convertible in the world” – to his impressive garage.
The billionaire has also owned a series of rare Porsches and Ferraris, a McLaren-Mercedes SLR 722 and, most notably, a 2010 Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir which is so limited there are only 12 in existence.
Jordan’s love affair with automobiles also extends to motorsports.
A longtime NASCAR fan, Jordan is the part owner of the 23XI Racing team alongside Denny Hamlin.
The NASCAR Cup Series team made its debut at the 2021 Daytona 500, with drivers Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick currently in the team.
Jordan was also a visitor to the 2022 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix.
Here are some of Jordan’s flashiest rides.
Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir (2010)
The ultra-rare hypercar is arguably the most impressive car in Jordan’s garage with just 12 ever made.
Costing a reported $2.25million, its all-black exterior is inspired by the Bugatti Type 57S Atlantic, with the suffix Sang Noir translating as “black blood.”

The car hits 60mph in 2.6 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 253 mph.
Canadian megastar Drake owns one of the 11 other Bugatti Veyron Sang Noirs made, with a license plate that reads ‘STARTED’.
Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster (2023)
For many years, the Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir was the most expensive car in Jordan’s collection.
That was until he recently acquired the Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster for a jaw-dropping $3.5milion.

Jordan is one of only 30 people on the planet to own the high-performance sports car, as the company withholds production.
Additionally, the car generates 1,193 pound-feet of torque, which runs through a seven-speed, single-clutch semi-automatic transition.
The sports car has a 1,817 twin-turbocharged V8 engine, allowing the vehicle to reach top speeds of up to 311 mph.
Jordan recently picked up the ride and posed with Hennessey founder and CEO John Hennessey on Instagram.
“Today was a special day. Such an honor to build a special Venom F5 for a special friend,” Hennessey wrote in the caption.
Chevrolet Corvette C4 (1984)
Chevrolet was one of the first companies to capitalize on Jordan’s marketing prowess when he entered the NBA in 1984.
Jordan secured a C4 Corvette from the company in a deal he signed with Chevy dealerships in the Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana area.

The gray metallic car had a license plate customized for Jordan, with ”Jump 23” on the plate.
As seen in The Last Dance, Jordan owned a number of Chevys and Corvettes during his time with the Bulls, including multiple C4s and C4 ZR1s.
In one scene, Jordan stops his Torch Red 1994 ZR1 in the middle of the road to sign a fan’s ball before taking off at great speed.
He is also seen nonchalantly parking a black Corvette C5 convertible in the middle of the parking lot at the Bulls practice facility, far away from any designated parking spot.
Ferrari 512 Testarossa (1988)
In 1989, Jordan was given an arrest warrant in Lexington, Kentucky, after he failed to appear in Fayette County District Court to deal with a traffic ticket.
Jordan was ticketed for driving 90 miles an hour in a 60-mph zone on Interstate 75 in his Ferrari 512 Testarossa.

The police officer also issued Jordan a citation for driving without an operator’s license, but he recognized the NBA superstar whose license plate read ‘M-AIR-J.’
“I told him, given the position he’s in, he should be setting an example rather than flying down the road like a bat out of hell,” patrolman Tommy Puckett said.
Jordan’s agent paid the $102.50 fine with a check sent by Federal Express and the warrant for his arrest was withdrawn.
The Ferrari 512 Testarossa reportedly cost Jordan $212,000 to buy and customize.
McLaren-Mercedes SLR 722 (2007)
The exclusive automobile is a tribute to Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson’s victory at the 1955 Mille Miglia race.
Their Mercedes-Benz bore the number 722 with Moss and his navigator starting the event at 7.22am local time.

It is a rare car, with just 2,157 produced between 2003 and 2010.
The SLR features a modified 5.5-liter V-8 engine pumping out 650 horsepower, plus a sprint from 0-62 mph in just 3.6 seconds.
Jordan’s car was listed for $695,750 in an online auction in 2021, with an extremely low mileage of just 1,038 miles.
Porsche 911 Turbo S (1998)
Jordan paid a cool $133,472 for his 1998 Porsche 911 Turbo S shortly before announcing his retirement from the NBA.
The bright red car could go from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 184.3 mph.

Jordan also owned a white 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo Cabriolet Slant Nose, which is one of the rarest Porsches ever made.
It was said to have been the inspiration for the Air Jordan VI, first manufactured in 1991.
Land Rover Range Rover HSE 4.6 (1999)
Jordan is also a fan of bigger cars, namely the Land Rover Range Rover.
He was seen in the final episode of The Last Dance leaving his mansion in Northern Chicago in the car heading for the United Center with his friend Ahmad Rashad rising alongside him.

The Range Rover had a 4.6-liter V8 and a customized license plate that read “Two Trey.”
Jordan did not have the car for too long, selling it just two years later in 2001.
MJ also once owned a black Range Rover County LWB which had an extended wheelbase and luxury amenities.
