Mbappé Has Epic Reaction as Christopher Nkunku Embarks Chelsea Journey

Kylian Mbappé is excited to see his former Paris Saint-Germain teammate Christopher Nkunku begin his journey with Chelsea. Nkunku posted a photo from his latest training session, and the 24-year-old chimed in with a witty comment.

“Going to get my popcorn,” Mbappé said in the Instagram comment section.

Nkunku, who developed through PSG’s youth academy, made a name for himself while at RB Leipzig. The Frenchman had several impressive performances in the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League.

As a result, it was only a matter of time before he took his talents to a more prominent club. Chelsea came calling and committed to paying more than the €60million release clause in his contract to ensure they landed the player.

While Nkunku is beginning a new chapter in his career, Mbappé could be doing the same. The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is linked to a move to Real Madrid as his transfer saga continues to drag. It will be interesting to see if the PSG star follows in his former teammate’s footsteps.
