Here is your Chelsea transfer roundup on Sunday, July 30.

Lesley Ugochukwu transfer done deal

Chelsea are set to complete a deal for Rennes midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu this summer in a deal worth roughly £23million, reports Fabrizio Romano. The 19-year-old midfielder is the next promising young star that’s set to join the Blues, though a decision is yet to be made on whether he will join up with the first-team or move to Strasbourg on loan.

Medical tests have been booked for the coming days, with a long-term deal agreed and a move set to be announced after everything is confirmed.

Moises Caicedo talks with Brighton

Moises Caicedo and his representatives will seek further talks with Brighton soon in an attempt to try and persuade the club to bring their asking price down from £100million, claims The Times. Chelsea have already had four bids for the Ecuador international rejected by Roberto De Zerbi’s side this summer, with the latest ranking at £80million.

The Blues are believed to still be in talks for the Ecuadorian international over the summer window, but it remains to be seen how much they will push to close out a deal.

Romeo Lavia hijack

Chelsea are ready to hijack Liverpool’s move for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia this summer, according to a report from Football Insider. The Reds are believed to have made a recent offer in the region of £45million, with hopes of landing the 19-year-old for their ranks.

However, the Blues are claimed to be preparing their own bid for the midfielder close to the Saints’ valuation of £50million in the coming weeks.
