Keanu Reeves’s movie Speed is still remembered as one of the best action movies in Hollywood. Sandra Bullock and the John Wick actor’s chemistry in the movies was like a breath of fresh air for many moviegoers.

Everyone knows the Canadian actor had a big crush on the 59-year-old actress and their pair on screen was flaming hot. Many fans of Bullock and Reeves like watching Speed because of their on-screen chemistry, but another great legend’s appearance is also remembered. 

Keanu Reeves says spending time with Dennis Hopper was the highlight of his life

Keanu Reeves in Speed played the character of Jack Traver, Sandra Bullock was seen as Annie Porter in the movie. The antagonist of the movie was portrayed by Dennis Hooper. The late actor was seen as the bomber Howard Payne in the movie. For Reeves, it was a highlight of his life to work with the legend. While talking about Hooper the actor said,

“Well, a fun day once was the day when they let us drive down the street smashing through cars on the bus. And everyone started to scream, hehe, and then laugh when it was over, and it really bonded everyone together. It was early on in the filming, yeah, but it was really fun to be smashing through cars!”

He further added,

“And with Dennis … gosh, I got to know him over the years and I’d first worked with Dennis on a film called River’s Edge, and it was cool to see him again while we were making Speed.” 

The late actor was one of the most incredibly influential actors in Hollywood. Hooper passed away on 29 May 2010.

Bullock and the Canadian actor formed a great relationship on the sets of Speed. The actor and The Blind Side actress never dated but they both reportedly had a crush on each other. During an interview, the 59-year-old actress recalled her moments with Reeves on the sets of her 1994 movie. While talking about the Internet’s boyfriend the actress said,

“When I first met him, I would spend as much time as I could filling a silence, just to feel comfortable. And the more I jibber-jabbered on, the quieter he would get. And I thought I don’t understand what’s happening! He’s looking at me with eyes of confusion. He’s quiet. Did I say something to offend him?”

The Bird Box actress also stated that she doesn’t think Reeves has bad blood with any of the women he has ever dated. The actress further stated that according to her no one might have anything horrible to say about the Canadian actor.
