According to reuters.com, Fenway Sports Group has become an addition to this new league. A group worth $8 billion that owns the Red Sox and Premier League club Liverpool has added a team from Boston to the TGL.
Incidentally, with this, LeBron James, who also has a stake in the group, has become another star participant in the project. It also includes tennis great Serena Williams and her sister Venus Williams as co-owners of the team in Boston, to play in Los Angeles Golf Club. Notably, Masters champion Jon Rahm and four-time major winner Rory McIlroy have also committed to the challenge.

Given Mike Trout shares a connection with Woods and has an immense love for golf, one can expect him to join the league. In the mid-July this year, Woods and Trout started off a project together fulfilling the latter’s dream.

Notably, it has prompted him to have his golf course, namely ‘Trout Reserve.’ It is being built in Vineland in southern New Jersey, with state-of-the-art facilities. Interestingly, Tiger Woods is designing this. It has added to the golf friendship between the two stars and the possibility of more partnership.
