Important dates from the Golden State Warriors’ schedule announcement

The Golden State Warriors have undergone significant change during the offseason. Klay Thompson left the franchise to join the Dallas Mavericks, ending the “Splash Bros” era and dismantling the championship-winning “Big Three.” Kyle Anderson, Buddy Hield, and De’Anthony Melton all joined the franchise, providing depth and optionality for Steve Kerr.

Last season, the Warriors struggled to find consistency, often losing games from winning positions. As such, they found themselves competing in the play-in tournament, where they lost to the Sacramento Kings. Therefore, Golden State spent the summer watching the playoffs from the comfort of their own homes, which is likely something they won’t want to get comfortable doing.

On Thursday, Aug. 15, the NBA released the Warriors schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season. If Kerr’s roster is going to bounce back from their struggles of last season, they must find a way to generate and sustain momentum. Here are some key dates and games from the Warriors upcoming schedule.
